The Cask of Amontillado＆The Tell-Tale Heart

  In the story, the cask of Amintillado, the main character decides to revenge to Fortunato. So, he treats well to Fortunato that he can't be conscious of his plan. At the carnival season, he met Fortunato and told that he has Amintillado, which is uncommon wine. However, Fortunato had a cold, so the protagonist tried to ask other person to analyze the taste of it. Fortunato said that he would  value the taste. So, protagonist guide him to his vaults. While going to his vaults, they drank wine. Fortunato was drunk and the main character tided him with chain and covered him with bricks.

  A protagonist in The Tell-Tale Heart, tried to kill an old man. He's being afraid of the old man's blue eyes, which he think that is a evil eye. For seven days, every night, he visits the old man's bedroom and see him sleeping on his bed. On the eight day, by his mistake the old man woke up. The old man confort himself that the sound was a mice creeping. The main character thought that it is the right time to kill this old man. When he killed the old man, he yelled. The neighbor called the police that there was a scream in the midnight. The police investigate the main character's house. He told the police that the old man went to trip and showed the treasures of  old man's. After that he chatt with the police. While he talk, he felt something strange, anxious feeling. So he told the police that he killed the old man.

  I think that the both stroy of protagonists have psychopathy. They both planed perfectly of killing people. Also, the reason they plan to murder was just a simple problem. There could be alot of ways to solve the problems. Just killing people couldn't be the best way to solve the problems. We shouldn't think criticizely and should think in a positive way. This both stories were published from Edgar Allan Poe. By his stories we could know that he was an criticize people. He couldn't think in a positive way, because his life was too harsh. He was orphaned when he was young. Also, he couldn't graduate University, because he didn't had enough money. His wife died after he published his first book. It was very tough to live. So, he relied on drugs and alcohol.  

The Ambitious Guest­­ - Nathanial Hawthrone

  A man came to a house in the mountain. In the house, there were family who lives a peaceful quiet life. The man came into the house and told about his ambitious life. Because of dreaming their own grand life, they couldn't hear the rock coming down. So the man and all of the family members die. In this story, the author wants to say that living simple and peaceful life is better than living an ambitious life. The family might be alive if they weren't dreaming grant lives and listen to the nature.

I think living simple and quiet life is better than living a huge great life. Now a days, society develops and gets busy. It is hard to find people who enjoys their lives. Most of people don't have time to enjoy their times, because of earning money and raising their child. It won't be easy to live an unambitious lives in current days. However, having some times with family and friends might be an alternative way to enjoy our lives. Getting time with others you like would make you escape from serous or complex problems.
